GETTING STARTED WITH AIIMS
AIIMS 2017 is known as All India Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS entrance exam. It is a national level undergraduate medical entrance exam conducted to offer admission in MBBS programme. AIIMS entrance exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi). The test will be held in May 2017. AIIMS 2017 will be conducted for admission to 672 seats in 7 AIIMS institution including AIIMS, New Delhi. Here in this page we will provide all the information regarding AIIMS 2017, which includes AIIMS application form, eligibility criteria, exam pattern and result. AIIMS 2017 results will be declared in June 2017.
Applicants should have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of a recognised University/ Board of any English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subject with minimum aggregate of 60 % marks
50 % Marks required for SC/ST/OPH candidates.
Applicants must have completed 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31 December, 2016
AIIMS 2017 Application ProcessAIIMS 2017 application form will be available from the month of January 2016. The candidates have to fill their form by using online mode through the official website of AIIMS 2017 i.e www.aiimsexams.org .
Application Fees For AIIMS 2017AIIMS 2017 application fees structure for different category is stated below –
General/OBC Category: Rs. 1000/-
SC/ST candidates: Rs. 800/-
OPH Candidates will weaved from fees . Mode of Payment – Applicants have to remit their fees by credit/debit card/net banking or Bank challan.
AIIMS 2017 exam pattern follows the MCQ pattern. The question will be asked from Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics. There will have 200 questions. The exam duration is 3.30 Hours. AIIMS 2017 paper will be either in Hindi or English.

Scoring of AIIMS 2017
There will be a provision of negative marking in the question paper . 1 marks will be given for each question . 1/3rd marks will be deducted for the incorrect response. The question marked with more than one answer will be treated as a wrong answer.

AIIMS 2017 Result
AIIMS 2017 Result will be declared in the middle of June 2017. The candidates who have appeared in the AIIMS 2017 exam can check their result from the official website of AIIMS.
AIIMS 2017 Counselling
AIIMS 2017 counselling will be held through the online mode in the 1stweek July 2017 . The qualifying candidates will be called for counselling.

Section-wise Paper Analysis of AIIMS-MBBS 2016 ExamAIIMS MBBS Exam 2016 had total 200 questions and was divided into 4 sections. 60 questions each were asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer and 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Overall the difficulty level of AIMMS-MBBS 2016 was high.
Check AIIMS MBBS Previous Year Cutoff
The questions asked in AIIMS MBBS 2016 GK section were based mainly on current affairs. The questions were also asked from topics such as person in news and government schemes. The difficulty level of General Knowledge section was easy.
AIIMS MBBS 2016 Physics section was difficult to attempt. The questions were of both numerical and theoretical types. The numerical questions were tricky and time consuming. The theoretical questions were based mainly on reason and assertion.

The difficulty level of Chemistry section was moderate. The questions were theoretical and not tricky. Candidates who have prepared well for the exam should not have found any difficulty in attempting this section.
